Dokra (also spelled Dhokra/Dokra) craft is a traditional metal art form practiced by tribal artisans in India for over 4,000 years, dating back to the time of the Indus Valley Civilization. It is especially famous in regions like West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand. The craft is created using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, where each piece is handmade and unique, making no two items exactly alike.
